Overview
ISO 26262:2018 is the state-of-the-art functional safety standard for automotive manufacturers and suppliers. This training is provided by SRES automotive functional safety experts and includes practical examples and exercises that support understanding of the standard’s key concepts and requirements. SRES instructors lead this training as active industry practitioners, bringing real-world program experience from global OEM and Tier 1 environments to support practical application beyond theoretical compliance.
This certification training covers topics from all 12 parts of ISO 26262. The live format allows for active discussion of how the standard is applied throughout the automotive industry. An optional exam to obtain the Automotive Functional Safety Professional (AFSP) certificate from SGS-TÜV Saar is available following the training.
The course combines lectures, practical exercises, real-world examples, discussion, and opportunities to exchange experience with SRES automotive functional safety experts.
