Kyle brings more than 15 years of functional safety leadership across the Tier 1 supplier and semiconductor sectors. He has designed and delivered ASIL D-compliant projects, built and led global safety teams, and developed scalable safety processes across hardware, software, and AI-enabled systems.

Matthew Wood

Vice President of Autonomy Engineering Verification & Validation

Matthew has 18+ years in automotive safety and autonomy, with leadership roles at Cruise, Motional, Uber ATG, and Cariad (Volkswagen Group). At Cariad, he led global safety engineering across VW and Audi and supported certification of zonal architectures to ASIL standards. He previously led autonomy validation at Cruise, contributed to the ISO 26262 and 21448 (SOTIF) standards, and co-authored Safety First for Automated Driving.
