Course Overview:
This 2-hour training is a highly-customizable crash course on automotive functional safety using the state-of-the-art ISO 26262:2018 standard. It is ideal for those unfamiliar with automotive functional safety and for executive management wanting a very high-level understanding of the standard’s philosophy, unique terminologies and requirements for their organization to develop towards compliance. The course is tailored based on your organization’s specific interests related to the standards. The training is provided by automotive functional safety experts with vast experience working with OEMs, suppliers and semiconductor manufacturers to successfully build functional safety into their organizations.
Training Objectives:
It can be challenging or even overwhelming when customers or suppliers use terminologies like “HARA”, “ASIL” or “FTTI” and inquire about the status and strategy for “ISO 26262” compliance. The objective with this training is to gently introduce managers and engineers to automotive functional safety in a highly interactive manner. The training provides a very high-level understanding of all the key terms, processes and strategies everyone must know about automotive functional safety.
